I got fed up with the lack of a decent movie player for Windows so I decided to write my own. And since it's open source you can do your own contributions and get those features-you've-always-dreamt-aboutTM. :-)

This program dates back to the good ol' days when hard disks were expensive and CD-R:s were cheap. It's basically a program to catalog all your homemade discs (or bought ones for that matter).
It stores a copy of the disc's file structure (including icons of executables) and presents it in a format similar to Windows Explorer.

I never finished the project so I'm mostly publishing it so that people with similar projects possibly can get some ideas from it.

This program was created mostly to keep my sanity and to keep me from killing my friends who were annoying the hell out of me. I got fed up with them always cluttering up their desktops with a DOS console containing a (slightly ancient) program showing their current disk usage. (I know I'm weird getting annoyed by these things, but that's not my point! =))

As you might have guessed Disk space shows the current disk usage of all local partitions in the machine (it doesn't do network disks so you can't cheat!) but with a much less intrusive display.
It still has bugs, but hey, it works!

This one has a similar motivation to 'Disk space' but instead of me killing my friends it was mostly to keep them from killing me when I was laughing my ass off after seeing them get whipped in quake because of severe disk lag.

I don't know if this program is still useful but when I made it my gaming friends often had problems with disk lag on LAN parties. 3 fps while being chased by a nutter with a boomstick is not good.

Their solution to the problem was to turn of all their shares during gaming ("Leechers, go away!") and restoring them afterwards. Share kill just automates the process. It also retains passwords and special privileges you might have set up.
